We are a part of Somerset, not an isolated weakling at the edge of a cold estuary with mud flowing down from Bristol and the English Severn reaches as our resource, that can be bullied around by people who like to take money off small children for soccer shirts, remove grant student places, engender part time sales slaves, cleaners and diggers, we live in a modern country with high technology demanding high ability to utilize that as muscle to attain necessary objectives, our contemporaries built bridges, developed woodlands, timber products, designed quality, taught, saved University, made University College, films, wrote books, played music, sang in the best choirs, wrote new music, farmed, provided the best foods, cared for others, sports success, built England rugby, ran railways, stopped floods, made the best crane group that ever existed, some of the best machinery and mines equipment, shovelled coal, delivered vegetables, bred the best farm cattle, researched the better fruits, ensured the best meat, conquered the Cleeve Common grazing, ... drew and painted best art, supported the best Unions, fed the churches, entered missionaries and aid workers, doctors to poor regions. We have what no city can ever provide, freedom, peace and tranquility with a good view while ensuring others are helped by work, hard work.
