Pottery painting workshop creates ideal Easter gifts

Karen Phillips Ceramics will be holding a pottery painting workshop so that people from Portishead can create their own ceramic master piece.

 

An ideal opportunity to make a special Easter gift for a friend or loved one, the event is taking place between 10am to 12 noon on 7 April in studio 4b at the Clevedon Craft Centre on Moor Lane just outside Clevedon.

 

Costing £10 those interested will be able to paint their own plate, get some home made cake and unlimited juice tea or coffee.

 

Karen said: “Painting a piece of pottery is very therapeutic and is a great idea for a personal gift. I’ve held a number of sessions at the Clevedon Craft Centre and the feedback has been great.

 

“I’ll be on hand to give advice and help with designs and ideas.”

 

After the painting has finished Karen will then take the items home where each item will be glazed and fired in her home kiln ready to return about five days later for collection.
