Pottery painting this Easter holiday

Karen Phillips Ceramics will be holding a special Easter holiday pottery painting session so that people from across North Somerset can create their own ceramic master piece.

An ideal opportunity to keep the kids entertained during the holidays the event is taking place on Wednesday 13 April at Gilly’s Café in Nailsea.

Starting at 2.30pm those interested will be able to paint a mug, plate, bowl or novelty egg cup and get 'high tea' for just £10.

After the painting has finished Karen will then take the items home where each item will be glazed and fired in her home kiln ready to return about five days later for collection.

Karen said: “Children just love painting pottery and it’s a great way to keep them entertained for a while during the holidays. I’ll be on hand to give advice and help with designs and ideas.”
