Portishead Rotary collection to eradicate polio

MEMBERS of Portishead Rotary Club along with their partners and friends collected over £342.00 towards Rotary's bid to eradicate polio worldwide.

Rotarians Len Jenkins and Dennis Withers man the collection point.
Each pound collected will safeguard five children against Polio.
The club wants to thank the people of Portishead and the Co Op for allowing the collection on its premises.
The same evening Portishead Rotary club held a rock n roll evening at the Pill Memorial Club also in support of the eradication of Polio and raised a further £400.00
