Poppy Appeal & Remembrance

I would like to say a big thank you to all those who have contributed to our Branch Poppy Appeal and who have supported us throughout Remembrancetide. It was wonderful to see so many people on parade yesterday and also to see so many lining the streets to support us.

With almost 300 collecting tins still to be returned we have already counted and banked £7,000 so fingers crossed our appeal total will be another record and surpass last year's final figure of £18,655.00

We will be holding a two minute's silence at 11am on 11th November in the precinct and look forward to a good attendance as in previous years.

Please note new members are always welcome at our meetings.
