RESIDENTS in Portishead are being reminded to have their say on issues which affect the local community.
A new, revitalised Partners and Communities Together (PACT) group has been launched and will hold its inaugural meeting at Avon Way Hall tomorrow night (March 17) at 7pm.
It is hoped a large number of local residents will attend the meeting at which a new PACT chairman will be appointed.
Young people are also being urged to attend the event to ensure they can give their views on what facilities are required in the town and how to address the needs of local teenagers.
PACT meetings give local residents the chance to discuss issues of concern with local police and representatives from partner organisations, including housing, the youth service, health officials and local schools.
