Motorway Noise

Has anyone else noticed that the M5 traffic noise appears to be much worse in recent weeks. I am woken by a loud roaring sound most mornings at around 5.00 - 5.30 AM. The air flow has been coming from the south in the recent weeks which is not normal. Has the motorway been resurfaced recently or does someone have any other knowledge of the cause?
I hope that the wind direction turns soon as I hate sleeping with windows closed in the warmer weather.

i think you might find that it is the traffic on the motorway making the noise not the motorway itself.
Should have bought a house away from the motorway like, mid wales
