Local cadet sailour wins regatta at marina

Portishead sailing club held a regatta in sunny weather on Suday 4th October. There were 14 competitors, all sailing Topper dingies, with 2 heats and a final race for this part of the series. This was won convincingly by Reuben Murphy beating many more than double (or triple) his age! The competitors enjoyed their races. Passers-by commented how pleasant it was to see dinghies sailing from Parish Wharf again. See the photographs of the sailing in the Gallery.
