The Lake Difficulty with a Skateboard Park, Bandstand, further off road parking

There are massive practicable difficulties with the Vehemence and rude manner of people in a News Company rag they seem for years to have controlled the Letters page of to assault Local Authority,  who could quite easily spend £200,000 Building ! again !, on a cheaper site with less concrete and foundations required to meet a skateboard centre, nearby safety while this Lake site has grassland and an already established required public walk and use as defined by Council for decades. Large quantities of money are not answers to public areas and good life. Back to the drawing board for people who like to swamp countryside and town parks in constructed surfaces, greater flooding, erosion, congestion, traffic problems, noise, damage and injury to young people, dangerous piers and health risks. There is already cricket, hockey, tennis, swimming, walking, boating and mini golf at Portishead Lake Grounds, a new bowling site and plenty of seats and sitting recreation areas. The events are a result of a change in definition on a 30 year cycle, matching the weather patterns induced from statistics and measurement techniques of effective equipment, Thrift used to mean careful use of resources to achieve an objective, it has then become used to mean the Minimum Effort feasible (hence the state of the Lake Grounds), now it is drifting back to the meaning of not spending any finances if your votes are for certain Lobby, private and public, and Political Party groups as it was before in the 1960s 1970s, unless funding one's personal sports car out of the tax expenses ... the rule is Matthew 19 1..10. The pool at Clevedon, the pier at Weston super Mare the pier at Clevedon all fit these categories. I am pleased to see Portishead Council has noted it complied with Planning regulations in procedure and the Skate project had not submitted correctly, shame as the project could have been formally rejected on physical, planning, social and landscape bases and the entire nonsense of the project at the site proposed would have been dealt with finally. I trust the Council has been attending to general public welfare and not just one group of lobby pressure exerting advocates of utilizing technical issues in Plan submissions for its own gain.

Yep there is already cricket, hockey, tennis, swimming, walking, boating and mini golf at Portishead Lake Grounds, a new bowling site and plenty of seats and sitting recreation areas you are right. But of course consider using it at a time that conflicts with the local residents view and you will be told no. Lockhouse lounge, someone using a derelict building to make a living, How many objections?
    Skate park, how many objections?
Red arraows (major event) beer tent, Howmany objections
    Must i go on?

Same old same old portishead, stop everything moan about the lot and bring nothing, maybe this should be the town mantra?
