A CONCERT in Portishead which was postponed because of the bad weather has been rescheduled.

Portishead Choral Society's performance of Handel's Messiah was due to take place earlier this month but was called off due to the bad weather.

The concert has now been rescheduled to January 8 at the United Reformed Church.

The society has managed to re-book almost all the original soloists for the new concert date.

Tickets remain valid, but if anyone is not able to make the new date, they should send their ticket to the Secretary at 8 Newhaven Road, Portishead, BS20  8LH for a refund.

A limited number of tickets are still available from Morgan Westley in the High Street.
