Stroke support sessions at Parish Wharf Leisure Centre

PEOPLE who have suffered a stroke are being invited along to a new evening support group.
The Western Active Stroke Group is holding sessions at Parish Wharf Leisure Centre, Portishead, on the first Monday of each month from 6.30-9.30pm.
The group aims to improve the lives of those who have survived a stroke and encourages both physical and mental stimulation through light exercise and socialising so members can grow in confidence and gain independence.
The group is always looking for volunteers to help run sessions and activities and for more information contact 01934 510 076.
