A NEW lunchtime fitness group for working people is being launched in Portishead.
The 30 minute class is at Parish Wharf Leisure Centre each Friday from 1.15-1.45pm and runs from September 17 to November 12.
The classes are open to all local employees and cost £9 for eight sessions.
The lunchtime fitness sessions are part of a new initiative by North Somerset Council to encourage healthy and active workplaces.
The initiative is being funded by Sport England.
Anyone interested in joining needs to register in advance by calling 01275 810995 or emailing sport@n-somerset.gov.uk.

When I read the subject title I thought it was fitness classes for people involved in the production of a curdled milk drink, still being furtively produced in some dark corner of THE VILLAGE.
