Entries wanted for Spring garden awards

GREENFINGERED homeowners are being urged to enter their gardens in a special competition in Portishead. The Portishead in Bloom committee is looking for entries for its Spring Garden Awards. The closing date for entries is April 28. A Portishead in Bloom spokesman said: "We are looking for people who are proud of their own garden or perhaps admire a stunning local garden that deserves recognition. “We also welcome entries from pubs, schools and residents associations.” Entry forms are available at the Folk Hall and Portishead Library or to download at www.portisheadinbloom.org.uk.
