New rubbish collections on the way - let us know your views

A NEW waste collection regime will get underway in some parts of North Somerset next week - including Pill and Portbury.
And how will you fare? Looking forward to having food bins in this hot weather?
Or do you think the new regime is a good idea, encouraging people to recycle more.
The new collection routes have already caused problems in Portishead, with some people not getting their rubbish collected.
We must hope when the new food bins arrive, they will not be left for more than a week otherwise there will be one almighty pong and the rats will think its Christmas!
New wheelie bins and containers have been delivered to just over half the properties in the district over the last month.
Those people who have received their new containers will the new collections starts from between July 19 and 30.
An information pack was delivered at the same time as the new containers giving householders the exact start date of their new collection regime.
The information pack also includes a booklet explaining the new services and how to use the new containers, as well as a new collections calendar.
The changes will see recycling and food waste collected weekly and non recycling general household waste collected fortnightly.
Green waste will also be collected fortnightly.
Alternatively, residents can check this on the council's website at www.n-somerset.gov.uk/calendar, or call Streets and Open Spaces on 01934 888 802.
North Somerset Council executive member for environment, Councillor Carl-Francis Pester, said: "We'll be collecting a huge range of recycling materials each and every week - including plastics, cartons and all types of cardboard."
The new recycling and waste services are being rolled out in two stages this summer.
Households in the second stage will get their new bins and containers in August or early September, and their new services will begin from mid-September.
These properties will continue on their current services until then.
New services for people in blocks of flats of four or more households will be introduced separately in late autumn, with current services continuing till the changeover.
A small number of properties in the district have no front garden and nowhere safe to put out a recycling box or food waste container for collection.
Rather than creating potential trip hazards on narrow pavements, the council is working closely with its waste contractors May Gurney to get an alternative recycling solution in place for these households as quickly as possible.
