Portishead man dies after road accident

Police are appealing for information after a 19-year-old man from Portishead died following a collision in the town at 1.30am today (Thursday, August 5).

The collision happened on Nore Road in Portishead, when a Skoda Fabia collided with the pedestrian.

The man was taken by ambulance to Frenchay Hospital, but later died. Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have seen the man in the Nore Road area beforehand.
