These classes help women to keep comfortable, relaxed and mobile in pregnancy, and prepare for labour with movement and breathing. We use gentle yoga based exercise so there is no need for any prior yoga or level of fitness, the class is open to all. The classes are very flexible and incorporate regular features such as breathing, relaxation and movement. There's also flexibility in the class, to have women back to tell birth stories or for the women to choose a topic to discuss at the end e.g. positions for labour, discussions about ways to birth, breastfeeding tips, things to take to hospital, pelvic floor exercises etc The classes are on Sunday nights from 7.30 till 9 at Avon Way Hall, Avon Way, Portishead BS20 6LT.
