Jacks Brasserie at Portishead is getting pulses racing this Valentine's Day with a 'foods of love' inspired menu.
Diners are invited to get their taste buds tingling with a three course meal, champagne truffles and coffee, all packed with aphrodisiac ingredients that are sure to get them in the mood.
Whether its oysters, caviar, chilli or home dried rose petals, this mouth-watering menu has it all.
Highlights include starters of poached native oysters, cucumber, caviar and champagne velouté and crisp confit duck leg with an orange and honey roast Jerusalem artichoke salad.
Main courses include roast free range chicken breast stuffed with wild mushrooms, fresh tagliatelle and a Madeira cream sauce and roast fillet of wild sea bream, spinach, confit potatoes and sauce vierge.
Desserts include Yorkshire rhubarb panna cotta, blood orange and mint salad with a pomegranate dressing, spiced pineapple and vanilla tart, honey and cinnamon ice cream and white chocolate cheesecake with a fruit and granola crumble.
These aphrodisiac delights can be enjoyed individually, or if diners want to share, all together as an assiette for two people.
The Valentine's menu will be available at Jacks Brasserie Bristol and Jacks Brasserie Portishead for just £29.95 per person on Thursday , February 14, and will run alongside the daily brasserie menu on Friday and Saturday, February 15-16.
