No sign yet of our pubs opening on the high street. It will be a very boring Xmas and New Year without them!

Enterprise Inns are asking for ~£18K to enter into a lease agreement for The Poacher and £25K for the White Lion.
They claim their rents are in the region of £35-40K p.a. but I recall reading the outgoing tenants of The Poacher were paying much more than this?

It's a tough one. If you dont have the capital to invest, the banks aren't keen to help nowadays - and this "pub company" certainly isn't helping individuals or itself

Apparently, according to the brewery, both these pubs are going to be open before Christmas. Watch this site for details.
