With regards to the interaction between anglers fishing from the pier and the outgoing/incoming yachts etc...
I believe it is safety first for the yachts/boats. If they have to run over fishing lines to stay safe then so be it. All it takes is a little common sense from us anglers to avoid the boats. There are inconsiderate people on both sides of the fence and these people have to be taken into account and hopefully advised of the possible safety problems caused by inconsiderate actions.
