See our story on this website. There are a number of parents who have not been offered places for their children in Portishead. What does everyone think?

The only School in Portishead built on solid rock, St. Barnabus, was closed out of animosity by the local authority managers, but during the period of time since promises were reneged upon, they have built three children's schools on waste tips. I was fortunate enough to go through that solid rock school, then onto another built on an established site and a new University of the better standard. However you keep electing them to office in spite of our persuasions to attend to the reality as we were effectively taught on stability.

We are really keen to move to Portishead, but are concerned that the schools are so oversubscribed and wondering where my five year old would end up going to school. It seems ill thought out that the developers are still building lots of 'family' homes yet there not enough places at the local schools.
