In light of recent events, I would like to applaud our local councillors on being so openly honest and transparent in planning matters. I would also like to congratulate this media outlet and the other local press outlets for being so public spirited as to want to instantly publicise any wrongdoings amongst our councillors, although by the lack of such revelations I can only assume we have a local council that is comprised of hardworking community spirited people who would go out of their way to ensure their mandate to represent local residents wishes are met to the highest degree and do so with great integrity, honesty, openness and devotion to the community they live in. Bravo Councillors, we will constantly monitor your performance to ensure you keep to the high standards you live by as shown by your handling of the skatepark planning application.

It is odd how our council are so good at their jobs that there are never stories of any of them stepping out of line and yet anyone who looks at that skatepark application in detail would know the complete opposite to be true. It is also a shame that local media no longer has the courage or journalistic integrity to share the councils wrongdoings with the wider public and it is left to the likes of public spirited residents and youtube videos to actually tell the truth of what some councillors are up to and there is certainly a lot to share.
