Am getting fed up with logging complaints re all the collections on NS website. You cant select more than one service that has been missed. When you go for making a formal customer complaint you don't get any response either. That is not what I call a service! Our rubbish, recycling, overflowing food waste has been out since last collection on 15 December. I would rather opt out of paying and do it myself - at least it would then be done. We are paying money for nothing. No doubt the last few snow flakes will mean another reason to avoid providing any resemblance of a service.
Quite right Lozza1010. I took my rubbish back in my flat in December, after the 15th Dec service was cancelled, in the spirit of not leaving rubbish out during Christmas days when people have visitors and obstruct the pavement. I took it out again early this morning, following the latest instructions on N Somerset's website. And believe me, after all this time it was quite a lot! There was a 33.33% success today, as the rubbish was collected but the food and recycle waste did not. Well, I can't take it back in, it is too much, they will have to stay out and obstruct pedestrians (as always- the property was assessed as fit from the council therefore it must be acceptable...) this is a flat we are talking about and not a mansion! I have no objection of taking the stuff to the tip myself as far as the councli doesn't charge me a fortune for the privilege of having my flat full of empty bottles, local papers that I didn't ask for but receive anyway etc etc.
