Perhaps you could please advise, that out of some 20,000 or so residents able to express a useful opinion over your suggestion, how many people so far, who are NOT on the council actually think this is a good idea and have actually registering a vote in favour of this.

This is gettiung rather farcical, the only person plugging this waste of time, making loud noises and who has publicly made us all aware of the impending Mayoral waste of time is the very person who proposed it and will be taking up the role. Surely as a councillor who is meant to represent peoples views there are much more important things this woman should be doing than self promotion?
I have yet to read of anyone or speak to anyone who supports this ridiculous idea other than Councillor, soon to be Mayor Knight. It comes to something when creating a role for yourself that the town has never needed before, nor needs now gets top priority for such transparent reasons.
