Theatre group's appeal for 'extras'

A PORTISHEAD theatre group is looking for people to appear in its next production.

Portishead Players is gearing up for a production of Dad's Army at the Somerset Hall, in April.

The show will feature episodes from the ever popular TV series.

The group is looking for male extras to make up Captain Manwaring's motley crew of Home Guard volunteers.

All ages are welcome and no experience is necessary and volunteers will have to be able to commit time for a few rehearsals and then the whole of the week of the production which runs from April 22-29.
