Children at Portishead Primary School have been learning about life in India this term.

Students learn about a Hindu wedding.
Pupils have researched different aspects of life in India and have been working on various projects across the curriculum.
Both classes in Year 3 have adopted a tiger from the World Wildlife Fund WWF and are enjoying keeping in touch with their progress.
On Monday they welcomed a visitor, Mr Daz, who came along to school to hold a workshop of a mock Hindu wedding.
Everyone took part in some way and it was an enriching experience for the children.
Class teacher Liz Essex said: " The children really enjoyed bringing this aspect of India to life through the workshop."
