Rotary presentation to Cystic Fibrosis Trust

FORMER president of Portishead Rotary Club, Jacqui Howard-Brown presented a cheque for £1500 to Audrey Williams of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

The Cystic Fibrosis Trust was one of Jacqui's three chosen charities during her year as president in 2010 and the money was raised by holding an ABBA Tribute Band concert, a concert by the Avon and Somerset Constabulary Male Voice Choir, the club's annual barn dance and its popular Swimathon.  

Jacqui said: " I would like to thank everyone who supported these events as it has enabled the Rotary Club of Portishead to help many others less fortunate."
