Portishead Rotarians hand over cash

Jacqui Howard-Brown, last year's President of the Rotary Club of Portishead, (pictured right) was delighted to present Angela Hearne from Cancer Research UK with a cheque for £1,500. The Cancer Research UK was one of Jacqui's three chosen charities during her year as president and the money was raised by holding an ABBA Tribute Band concert, a concert by the Avon & Somerset Constabulary Male Voice Choir, the club's annual barn dance and, of course, the  annual Swimathon. Jacqui would like to thank everyone who supported these events as it has enabled the Rotary Club of Portishead to help many others less fortunate.
