Parish Wharf pool to close next week for repairs

THE swimming pool at Portishead's Parish Wharf Leisure Centre is to close for repairs next week.

Both the leisure water and the main swimming pool at the leisure centre will close on Wednesday (December 19) to enable work to be carried out on the slides in the leisure water.

Both pools will have to be closed because of the fumes from the resin being applied to the slides.

The main pool is due to re-open on Saturday (December 22) and the leisure water on Sunday (December 23). . 

All other facilities at Hutton Moor and Parish Wharf will be open as normal next week. Other swimming pools are available at Backwell Leisure Centre, Churchill Sports Centre and Strode Leisure Centre in Clevedon.
