Man stabbed in Portishead

A MAN is in a stable condition in hospital after he was stabbed in Portishead on Saturday.

The man, who has not been named, was taken to Frenchay Hospital where he is in a stable condition following an incident at Glebe Avenue during the early hours of Saturday.

 A 28-year-old man from Clevedon has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and is due before North Somerset magistrates today (Monday).
