Lake grounds

Who is responsible for maintaining the level of the water in the lake? It is so low at the moment, it looks as if it is going to dry up - a couple of months ago it was flooded over the path - some expensive equiipement was installed last year, to enable adjustment of the water level - seems totally pointless unless there is someone to monitor it regularly

Welcome to Portishead angiwitch!
I'm glad you made our little community your home - And I am sure you will love living here. Believe me it is an even better to place to live with a bit of sun!
There's the lake grounds to enjoy, the nature reserve, the marina, the high street, costal path and much much more. I just know you will love it.
The town is changing - and I think you will love the blend of the traditional costal town with the new developments that are coming!
Anyway, take care and keep enjoying Posset!
Best wishes

ReportThank YOU for your lovely comment, I am new to the Portishead, and have been living abroad for 20 years, which perhaps gives me a different perspective on dear old Blighty, unfortunately it is not always a great one! But Portishead is a friendly and delightful place to be, and I hope to be an active member of the community.

ReportThank you for taking this important issue forward angiwitch!
Our community needs more pro-active members like yourself!
Lets hope that the solution put in place by the council is effective.
Best wishes
