Gas repair in High Street causes traffic queues
By thepickler | Monday, August 13, 2012, 13:51
The fact that the High Street is being dug up to repair a gas leak at the same time that Wyndham Way is closed for resurfacing is not good news for shoppers or motorists.
Apparently there is a gas leak outside Fowlers Florists and that's why the road is being dug up and there are lights.
However as the High Street is the main diversion during the work to Wyndham Way, its causing real traffic congestion. Are you one of the unlucky motorists/traders or shoppers facing long queues in the High Street?

It still does'nt answer the question why there nobody working on the leak on Monday.

ReportIf that was the case why did'nt the police come down and take over to move the traffic on?
After doing some shopping I had to go to Bristol. I had to go up to West Hill via Nore Road down via the Police HQ to make my way to Bristol.
