Balmoral and Waverley Sailings from Clevedon

The Waverley and Balmoral are always advertised and the charity is always asking for donations in Portishead People, I like to support local causes, but not again!   We booked the Balmoral sailing from Clevedon to Ilfracombe for my Birthday back in July, this was cancelled due to maintain ace issues and we were told via email a few days before which we were obviously disappointed about.   We then re-booked for last Sunday, 4th September with babysitters lined up yet again, we looked forward to our nice peaceful and relaxing sailing!  After dropping the kids off the night before we woke at 630am to get the 815 sailing. We arrived at the sea front to find a great deal of people. (Many that had stayed in clevedon the night before)waiting for the ship to arrive, only to be told by a laminated sign that it had been cancelled due to weather conditions. They could  not have picked up the phone or email anyone or even send a member of staff to tell us face to face?? This is the second weekend they have spoilt for my husband and I, I certainly won't be supporting the charity again which is a great shame.
